About Adjoa

As a current Electrical Engineering student and an active member of my college community I am a very patient and hardworking when it comes to helping others in academics and outside of academia settings. My engineering background equips me with strong problem-solving skills while my experience and writing editing allows me to support reading comprehension and clear communication. My community involvement has told me the influence of connections and trust values I bring to tutoring sessions. I like tutoring because I genuinely enjoy working with kids. I want to help them boost their confidence in the same subject I used to find challenging myself such as math and writing. My approach with students is patience, encouragement, and practice. My goal is to make learning less intimidating. It's incredibly rewarding to help student practice skills that once felt out of reach for me and show them that with the right steps and they too can overcome these obstacles.
