Hi there! I'm Adela! I'm a former middle school science teacher with 9 years of classroom experience, and now I work for myself as a musician and children's book author. My flexible schedule allows me to support families who need reliable, caring, and engaging childcare. As a teacher, I learned how to connect with kids of all personalities and help them feel safe, confident, and inspired. I love creating fun, educational moments -- whether we're reading, exploring nature, doing crafts, or discovering something new together. I'm patient, nurturing, and great at keeping children engaged while also following routines and family preferences. I'm also a dog mom of two, and all of my storybooks are based on my pups, Hunny & Koko -- so creativity and imagination are a big part of the way I interact with kids.
