About Addy

I have always had a passion for working with children, as I loved helping my younger siblings and cousins at such a young age! My first professional job working with children was as a part time nanny. I worked with 2 children, as their mom worked mornings. I tidied the house for about an hour before the kids woke up, and then I'd cook breakfast for them, pack their lunch, and get them ready for school. As for my second experience, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician where I would work 1 on 1 with children ages 2-18 who had disabilities such as autism. Some of these would be in an office setting, while others where in their home! Most of what I did was helping the kids learn how to behave/function more independently; whether that be teaching them how to cook/clean, how to use the toilet independently, or even just how to communicate effectively.
