About Addy

Hello, my name is Addy and I am currently a graduate student pursuing a career as a Child Life Specialist online. I graduated with my bachelors in psychology with minoring in child development, family studies, and child trauma at Southeast Missouri State University. Alongside my studies, I worked full-time as an infant assistant teacher at the University School for Young Children in Cape Girardeau MO, a role I have held since 2023 after receiving my CDA. In March of 2026, I became the interim lead teacher in my infant room. I am CPR certified. Balancing full-time work with full-time online coursework has strengthened my time management skills, dedication, and commitment to working with children and families. I plan on moving back home to Fenton, MO to finish up my masters program.
