About Addison

Hi! I'm Addison, a student on the Dean's List majoring in Management Information Systems with a 3. 94 college GPA. I have been tutoring since 5th grade and was later selected as a peer tutor in my university's MIST program. I earned a 33 ACT and 1360 SAT and was an AP Scholar with Distinction. AP scores include 5s in Biology, Government, Microeconomics, Statistics, and Environmental Science and 4s in World History, Computer Science, and Calculus AB. I graduated with a 3. 85 unweighted GPA and 4. 42 weighted GPA and was accepted to UGA, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and Indiana. I tutor elementary through high school students in math, science, and writing. I focus on helping students work through problems step by step rather than just giving answers so they build confidence and independence. I adjust explanations until it clicks and keep sessions encouraging while updating parents on progress.
