About Addison

Hi, I'm Addison. Caring for older adults is very personal to me. My grandmother has cancer and was bed bound for several months, so I learned how to help with daily tasks, repositioning, comfort, and simply being present during long days. I also had a great grandfather with Alzheimer's, so I understand the emotional impact and state of mind memory loss can cause. I'm naturally good with older people and enjoy being a companion just as much as helping around the house. I can physically assist when needed, read with or to your loved one, and help keep spirits up and motivation going. I am not a medical expert but would gladly meet with a current caregiver or home aide to learn routines and support care properly. I'm a good listener and want to be someone families trust and loved ones feel comfortable with.
