About Addi

I have worked with young children of differing ages in the Sunday school and camp programs my Church put on and worked as a babysitter/nanny for family friends. I enjoyed being around children and helping them to develop their own independence and personality while also providing a safe and comforting presence that they can depend on. I love to let the children lead play as much as possible, I encourage them to show me whatever they are excited about, whether that's their drawing skills, a new toy, or a favorite book. On nice days I encourage outdoor play for kids who are old enough. I sincerely believe it fosters creativity, better stimulates learning brains, and allows to soak in fresh air and sunshine. To me the most important part is developing relationships with the children so that they feel comfortable and cared for. For many young children being without a parent is an anxiety-inducing experience, I try to focus that energy into something else until they forget to worry.
