Background: *Working in a Baltimore inner-city program supporting emotionally disturbed students *Serving as a special educator in an elementary school *Running a classroom in a MS program for students removed from their zoned schools due to behavioral challenges I specialize in creating a safe, trusting environment where students feel empowered to take risks, build confidence, and grow. I listen closely to each student's thoughts and feelings, meet them where they are, and provide personalized support rooted in patience, empathy, and accountability. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or building self-esteem, I'm here to help them succeed--and to make learning a positive experience. In my spare time, I like to play games/cards with my family, watch soccer, play sports... exercise! One thing you should know about me is I bring a lot of energy and genuinely enjoy getting to know the students I work with My skills include math, ELA and special education.
