About Abigail

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Abby as a nanny and caregiver. Abby worked with our family for 14 months, caring for our daughter. Any family that welcomes Abby into their home will be gaining far more than a nanny, they will be gaining a trusted caregiver, a role model, and a truly wonderful person. Here are just a few reasons we love Abby so much. When we first met Abby the first thing that stood out to me is how calm and quiet she was. As a new mom, I was easily overstimulated. Overly excited, exaggerated interactions with myself or daughter was the last thing I needed. I'm naturally a shier and quieter person myself so I appreciated the match in energy. Despite our "quiet" start, it didn't take long to see the incredible warmth, dedication, and thoughtfulness behind her calm demeanor. She takes her responsibilities seriously and consistently went above and beyond the expectations of the role. Having worked with other caregivers in the past, I can confidently say Abby's level of engagement and attentiveness was unmatched. While I often saw other nannies distracted by their phones or only partially engaged with the children in their care, Abby was fully present at all times. Whether she was pushing our daughter on a swing, reading a book, or exploring a new activity, she made eye contact, encouraged conversation, sparked laughter, and was always aware of her surroundings. She treated every interaction as an opportunity to help our daughter learn, grow, and feel loved. One of the things that impressed me most was the amount of time and effort Abby invested outside of her working hours. She regularly planned crafts, outings, sensory activities, and educational experiences from home so that each day was meaningful and enriching. During her time with Abby, I watched my daughter's language skills, confidence, curiosity, and independence flourish. Abby was also exceptionally reliable. She was never late to work, maintained a consistent routine, and provided the type of dependability every parent hopes to find. She meal prepped, cleaned up after activities, kept our daughter on a healthy schedule, and made our days feel lighter and far less stressful. My husband and I never worried when Abby was with our daughter. We knew she was safe, cared for, and having fun. Abby kept us connected throughout the day with photos and updates, and we always looked forward to hearing about their adventures together. Beyond the extraordinary care she provided to our daughter, Abby positively impacted our entire family. She brought a sense of calm, trust, and joy into our home that is difficult to put into words. The peace of mind she gave us as parents was invaluable. Even after transitioning our daughter to daycare, our relationship with Abby never ended. We have remained close friends, seeing each other regularly and supporting one another through life's milestones. She has attended every one of our daughter's birthday parties, joins us for outings, and continues to hold a special place in our daughter's life. Abby is one of the most responsible, kind-hearted, trustworthy, and genuine people I have ever met. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her care for their children. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has so much to offer, and I have no doubt that she will bring the same love, dedication, and professionalism to every family she works with.
