About Abigail

Certified in Elementary Education (PreK-6) and Special Education (PreK-8), I have three years of teaching and six years of tutoring experience, working with diverse students in inner cities and Hawaii. I am passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered. I specialize in adapting instruction to different learning styles and communication needs, including working with students on the autism spectrum. By using individualized strategies, I help build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Strong teacher-student relationships and open communication are at the heart of my approach, fostering both academic and personal growth. My goal is to make learning meaningful and accessible, providing students with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to succeed in and beyond the classroom.
