About Abigail

Hello! I am a positive and nurturing 1st grade teacher. I have been teaching for 7 years. I have dedicated my life's work to preparing, guiding, and nourishing young minds. The greatest satisfaction I receive is seeing children learn while having fun. I believe that every child can benefit from their inquisitive nature and rely on this heavily while caring for children. I believe that children should be able to play, explore, and learn from mistakes in order to become well rounded individuals. I have cared for a family for 3 summers. I am very skilled at providing summer daycare for kids that is engaging while catering to their particular needs. I make sure sure to provide loving care to children while providing tons of safe fun and learning opportunities. I am also comfortable in having expectations for behavior and appropriate consequences while having students learn from their mistakes. My ultimate goal is to provide comfort and growth throughout the summer.
