About Abigail

Ever since I was a child, I remember helping my grandparent with Alzheimer's, and for years now, I've been assisting another grandparent with Vascular Dementia. Through caring for her, I've mastered skills like medication administration, gentle lifting, meal preparation, assisting with daily activities like using the bathroom, and light housekeeping. These experiences have deeply shaped my understanding of older adults' needs. Between my Bachlor's in psychology and my minor in human development and family sciences, I've taken specialized classes on the psychology of aging. My goal is to be a respectful, caring presence that makes each person feel comfortable, even if that means sitting with them and just talking. I look forward to bringing a positive, upbeat energy and making a difference in the lives of the families I assist!
