About Abigail

Hi, my name is Abbey. I am originally from Oklahoma, but I recently moved to Pensacola to be closer to family and I absolutely love it here! I have 3 younger sisters who I have taken care of for most of my life, so I am very experienced with meals, playtime, clean-up, bedtime, and everything in between. My youngest sister has Down's Syndrome so I am highly experienced in caring for children with DS and related disabilities. When I babysit, playing outside, playing with toys, reading books, doing homework, and doing crafts are always a priority before electronics. Patience, gentleness, compassion, kindness, and genuine interest in kids' thoughts and feelings are a few things I have learned over the years with my sisters and other kids I have babysat that lead to a fun and easy day for both the children and me. Along with kid diplomacy, I am certified in CPR and BLS. If needed, I can do overnight care as well.
