Hello! My name is Abigail, and I am a State College local and recent graduate of Penn State with a degree in Secondary Education and a focus in English. I have several years of experience working with children, including babysitting, summer camp programs, and childcare centers. I have experience working with children ages 1-14. Some of my experience includes student teaching in an 8th grade classroom, being a group leader and counselor for 5th graders at a PSU overnight camp, working as a camp leader at the State College Friends School-which included field trips to playgrounds, downtown State College, and local state parks-working as a childcare assistant teacher at the PSU Hort Woods Childcare Center, and providing tutoring for elementary students. I have a generally flexible schedule with more availability in the evenings.
