About Abigail

My name is Abby, and I am an 18-year-old freshman at LSU studying social work. I have worked in childcare since I was 16. I have worked after school care, summer care, and have been a babysitter and nanny. I currently work Sundays at a church nursery. I have worked with ages 3 months to middle school. I have always loved working with kids and plan to do so in my future career as a children's therapist. As a nanny, I have done a variety of tasks associated with childcare such as grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, pool days, crafts, full bedtime routines, pet care, and more. I was also a volunteer tutor in my senior year of high school and have dog-sat for my nanny family many times when they have been out of town. Overall, I have a passion for childcare and plan to continue to work with kids throughout my future.
