Hi! My name is Abigail and I am a current undergraduate junior at Georgetown University studying Psychology. After graduation, I hope to go into social work for the aging population. I have spent the past three years working with older adults living with a range of cognitive and physical abilities. I have worked and volunteered at adult day health care services for people living with dementia and assisted living communities in the DC area. At Georgetown, I have been a research assistant in the Memory Disorders Program and more recently, I worked on a study with UNC Chapel Hill in lower rates of COVID-19 in small nursing homes. I have worked as a nursing assistant and private nurse aide for the past year and am looking forward to finding new opportunities!
