About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abby, and I am currently a graduate student at Wayne State University pursuing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Starting in July, I will have a few months off from school and would love to support older adults and their families during that time. I have experience in respite care and previously worked as an in-home recreational therapist with older adults of varying abilities to support their needs. I value creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment while helping individuals maintain independence, dignity, and meaningful daily routines. I am happy to assist with companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, recreational activities, and daily support needs. I am CPR/AED certified and strive to be patient, compassionate, dependable, and attentive in every caregiving environment. I would love the opportunity to support you or your loved one!
