About Abigail

I am a licensed Reading Specialist with experience tutoring students in grades 1-5. I support children in building strong reading skills, including phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. My tutoring sessions are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child's individual needs. I use research-based strategies to help struggling readers gain confidence while also supporting students who need reinforcement or enrichment. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where children feel successful and motivated. I work closely with families to promote student confidence in becoming independent readers.
