CERTIFIED TEACHER!!!

About me: I am a 26-year-old special education teacher along with having a degree in elementary education. I'm looking for some extra hours on the weekends. I am very flexible and have a lot of experience with children of all ages.

From Fall 2020-July 2022 I worked as a live in nanny (Boston area) before becoming a certified teacher. I'm still very close with the family and often see the now 4yr old and 7yr old every 5-6 weeks if the time allows! Along with this experience, I have worked in my mother's home daycare since I was very young and I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. 

I have lots of patience, love getting the kids out of the house and involved with the community. I am very enthusiastic along with being responsible.

Abby is an outstanding babysitter who I high recommend. She cared for my energetic and precocious 3 year old on a weekly basis while I had my hands full with a newborn. He loved spending time with her and I felt very happy with him in her care. Abby is a delight to be around and also very reliable. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat.

Abigail has been the most exceptional babysitter to our daughter on our summer visits to the east coast for the past three years.  We connected with her through my cousin who sang Abigail’s praises so effusively, we assumed she must be exaggerating, but no, no she wasn’t.

Abigail is kind, caring, and fun, but also has a firm hand when needed. Our daughter would come back from days spent with Abigail and announce that she now can pump on the swing by herself or some other milestone of independence because Abigail helped her see she was more than capable of trying and succeeding at it.  Abigail always demonstrated sound judgement and over time, we came to rely on her more and more.  Afternoon babysitting became full days and from there we added occasional evenings and now we feel more than comfortable with her taking our daughter on day trips to the beach, amusement parks, and so on.  

If we lived closer to Abigail, we would employ her even more (sadly we have no one we like or trust as much her local to us), but a bright spot of our summers is seeing her and having our daughter spend time with her.  We would recommend her to anyone enthusiastically and without any reservations.

Abby is amazing! She has cared for our two boys the past two years during the summer and they love her. She’s incredibly reliable and so interactive with them. I would highly recommend her!

We hired Abby for several days in the summer time prior to our 2 year old daughter starting daycare. Our little one took to Abby very quickly and couldn't stop talking about her. We were thoroughly impressed with her ability to jump right in and anticipate what our little one would need next. She's very professional, engaging, and trustworthy. Would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Abby cared for my two children (10 and 6 yrs old) after school. She was responsible for transporting them home, homework, snack etc. she was extremely dependable and flexible. Always communicated with me in a timely fashion. She was absolutely wonderful with my children. She made sure they completed the things they needed to do while also providing a fun, safe loving environment in my absence. I would highly recommend any family utilizing her services!! Abby is an absolute treasure!

Abby is great! She was the first babysitter I used after I had my baby in September and started watching him when he was 3 weeks old. As a first time mom, I was super anxious about leaving my baby but felt very comfortable leaving him with Abby! She's very knowledgeable and did everything I asked her. I would 100 % recommend Abby!

Abby is amazing with my 3.5 year old son. She is on time every day for me to get to work. She brings my son to and from preschool as well as makes dinner for him.  She is wonderful with my dachshund Franklin as well. She is kind, respectful, and fun. My son took to her right away. She is flexible and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a babysitter or a nanny.

Abby is an exceptional caregiver. She watches our 4 kids regularly, and they absolutely adore her. Abby is easy to communicate with for scheduling, and is dependable and punctual. Her years of experience helping at her mother's day-care comes through in how quickly she is able to put our kids at ease. We look forward to date-night, knowing that our kids are in good hands while we're out!

Abby has cared for our kids for seven years! She is kind, patient, conscientious, and knows how to handle tough behaviors. I've always felt safe leaving my kids under Abby's care. She is highly recommended!

You will not be disappointed.  Abby is trustworthy, reliable, responsible, respectful, and fun.  My kids are never bored because she always comes up with fun activities.  She knows how to keep the kids interested and also knows how to be firm when needed.  Abby has been working with our family since my kids were infants (now 6 & 8).  We are blessed to have her as our sitter.  My kids love her!
