About Abigail

My experience in childcare started at a licensed in-home daycare (Willows and Dunes) in Humboldt County, California. Us two adults looked after 11-14 children ages 1-5 daily from 8-5:30 p.m. We had a nature-based curriculum centered around outside play with kinetic, artsy activities (it was on a wildlife preserve). Cleaning, preparing food and general housekeeping was part of the job. I worked there for almost 5 years and then moved here to Eugene. I work for the city part-time now, but I would love to get back into child care and take what I learned to care for kiddos as well as create engaging activities that bring out the best in them! I love face painting and building activities, as well as anything that suits the their fancy. I'm excited to find the right fit and meet families here!
