About Abigail

Hi everyone, my name is Abby and I have a passion and genuine love for working with children. I recently graduated from college in California, where I majored in linguistics and Spanish. I took many classes that involved working with local elementary schools to teach Spanish and local ecology, in addition to being a camp counselor for 2 years at a Spanish immersion program. I have experience with newborns up until age 12, and I love being active (tennis, yoga, swimming), as well as reading and learning with children. In the past I have been a summer nanny as well as a weekly babysitter for families in the State College area, where I have organized activities for 1-3 children and helped with transportation between camps and school.
