Hi there! Let me introduce myself. I'm Abby and I graduated from York Tech's Early Childhood Education program in 2020. I have 7+ years experience student teaching/teaching in various early learning centers in York County. I have volunteered at my church nursery for a many years as well. I am CPR certified & first aide certified and I have my teaching certification (CDA) for 3-5-year-olds. I am well educated in child development & have thousands of hours of training relating to the field as well. Currently I am employed the School Age Coordinator at a local childcare center- I drive the vans to and from various schools, plan out and lead staff through summer camp, and coordinate any field trips that happen during days off. Abby is absolutely incredible! Certified in everything you could ask for.. But not only that, she is caring, down to earth, and most importantly PATIENT. We have 5 kiddos, ages 6-10 when she first started watching them.. a HANDFUL.. But she always brought along plenty of activities or crafts or whatever doodad it may have been to keep them entertained! She sent pictures and always responded within a timely manner of messaging to check on them! It's been 4 months since she's watched them because of moving across country and the kids STILL talk about her. WE LOVE YOU ABBY!!!!
