About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as patient, polite but most importantly a great listener. I like tutoring because I love to engage with students which helps both of us. Helping with either reading, spelling or even small tricks with math would play a big role when Learning. I'm looking for a job that would benefit for both my myself, parents and students. So each one of us would be proud with the extra help and what it made fulfill. I started tutoring when I was 16 in high-school. I did readings with 1st graders and learned a few techniques on how to engage a child with pronunciation of certain words. In my spare time, I like to read, Art or stroll the city (Manhattan). One thing you should know about me is I take the effort in everyone serious. I strive for improvement with any obstacles that might hinder a child. My skills include Communication , Empathy and Active listening.
