About Abigail

TLDR: Abi is a loving, skilled, and trustworthy infant nanny—We couldn’t have asked for better Abi has been an extraordinary nanny for our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her care for our daughter starting when she was just seven weeks old. From the very beginning, Abi demonstrated an intuitive understanding of infant needs—she could easily recognize cues for hunger or sleep, expertly prepared bottles to the perfect temperature, and knew just how to rock our baby in her arms to help her take long, restful naps. Throughout each day, Abi ensured that our daughter was well-fed, well-rested, and also mentally stimulated. She engaged her during playtime with books, soft toys, and teethers—always selecting just the right things to match our daughter’s interests and developmental stage. As our daughter grew, Abi was thoughtful and proactive in adapting her care, encouraging new skills and supporting her through every leap in development. Abi also helped us through the transition to solids using our preferred approach—a combination of purées and baby-led weaning. She prepared appropriate meals for our daughter, always making sure they were safe, age-appropriate, and aligned with what we wanted to try at home. Her calm, flexible approach made the process smooth and stress-free. Abi balances indoor and outdoor time beautifully. She spends hours playing on the mat, but also makes time for stroller walks and visits to the park and shaded spots so our daughter could enjoy the sunshine and fresh air when the weather allowed. In addition to being warm and attentive, Abi is also incredibly reliable, punctual, and respectful of our home. She’s happy to lend a hand with light household tasks and does so in a way that never disrupts the flow of the day. We trust Abi completely and are genuinely sad to see her move on. The only reason for the transition is so that our daughter, who’s now almost a year old, can begin socializing in a daycare setting. **Any family would be lucky to have Abi—she is a truly exceptional caregiver, especially for infants, and we cannot recommend her highly enough.**
