I've taken care of special needs/ disabilities/ intellectual disabilities professionally for the last 8 years. I've worked in over 20 different group homes and 3 day programs. I've taken care of a VERY wide range of people in this subject. I've also got a son with disabilities :) so I've been there not just professionally but personally. My son was diagnosed with CMT, xxy syndrome, ASD, and things that go along with those diagnosis. I would like to say that I specialize in this job because its where my heart is more than anywhere else. I have what it takes to be a good DSP because I have what cannot be taught. And TONS of experience :) I've also been a CNA for memory care seniors. I've got a lot of care taking experience. Special needs wins my heart always.
