About Abigail

I've spent over 10 years caring for animals, and it has become a major part of my life. I've raised Scottish Terriers and worked with many dog breeds and cats of all kinds, learning to adjust to each animal's unique personality-whether they're energetic, shy, playful, independent, or stubborn. I also have experience caring for cats with medical needs, including diabetic cats, and I'm comfortable giving insulin shots, IV fluids, and following detailed care instructions. This past summer, I worked closely with show dogs, helping with daily routines, grooming, socializing, exercising, and keeping them calm and confident in different environments. I also have experience supporting cats through enrichment and gentle socialization while respecting their body language and comfort levels. Working with so many animals has strengthened my patience, awareness, and connection with them, and I truly love every pet I care for.
