About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abigail and I am a senior in Social Work at The University of Montevallo. I have been working with children since the age of 15, and absolutely love it! I have worked with youth who have disabilities/special needs, children from newborn to the age of 6th grade, and children with behavioral problems. My work consisted of babysitting, camp counseling, after-school childcare, transportation, coordinating activities for certain age groups, changing diapers/cleaning up accidents, creating crafts, etc. I know hold an internship at Family Connection, which is a runaway homeless shelter/court ordered program for youth ages 11-17. I am extremely passionate about the youth of today, their safety, their happiness, and their quality of life. I hope I can help you and your family out!
