Abby was our nanny for two years, and she was an incredible caregiver to our two boys, who were 4 months old and 2 years old when she started working for us. Abby has a real talent with young children. She can redirect without scolding and can kindly hold a boundary. She took our son's peanut allergy very seriously and was a great communicator about any and all things related to the kids. She took them on outings often, and shared our belief that children need lots of time outside. Our kids grew to love her and to see her as a trusted adult they felt safe with. Even though it's been about 3 years since she worked for us, we're still in touch, and our kids still remember her and ask about her (and we occasionally FaceTime, because we miss her!). If you have the opportunity to hire Abby, consider yourself lucky, and do it!
