I have 3+ years of hands-on caregiving experience, and I think it makes me a great fit for elder and companion care. As a Direct Support Professional, I've helped adults with autism and developmental disabilities with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and meal prep. I keep their living spaces clean and sticking to a consistent daily routines. I'm big on building real connections with the people I care for. I check in daily and actually get to know them. I've also learned to notice when someone's struggling emotionally or physically, and how to calmly help them through it. That matters a lot when someone's health or mood shifts day to day. I'm solid on documentation too. I've kept detailed notes and stayed in close contact with care teams and medical staff so nothing falls through the cracks. I've also studied psychology and special education, and I'm certified in BLS/AED and SCIP-R. I treat people with patience and dignity, and I show up every day ready to help.
