About Abby

I am a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and recently moved back home to Rancho Santa Margarita to take classes to apply for my Master's in Speech Language Pathology. I have babysat children for over 7 years, with families of up to 4 children. Along with this, I did respite care giving for children with special needs for over a year, and continued with that through the Koegel Autism Center at UCSB. Additionally, I was a research assistant at the UCSB Social and Cognitive Development Lab, where we studied children's understanding of social situations. Finally, I was a lead teacher at the elementary school program, where I was in charge of a classroom of children ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I also enjoy being active and outdoors, and love to paint and draw. I have pretty flexible availability throughout the week, and also on the weekends. I look forward to meeting you and your kiddos!
