About Abby

I have been tutoring from high school through college and beyond, working with students from elementary through high school. I bring strong communication skills and experience supporting students with different learning needs. I use an individualized, multi-system approach to identify learning gaps, address challenges, and build confidence. My experience includes working with students with autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, ADHD, and processing disorders. I especially enjoy tutoring math and science. In math, I can help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and problem-solving. In science, I can help with biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and earth science. I'm also happy to assist with other subjects, homework, study skills, and test preparation. My goal is to make challenging concepts easier to understand by breaking them into manageable steps and finding an approach that works best for each student.
