About Abby

My name is Abby, and I am a swim instructor and lifeguard at the Forest Grove Pool with four years of experience teaching swimmers of all ages, including preschool and school-aged children. I have specialized experience working with developmentally disabled children, creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments. I also lifeguard every Friday for the Forest Grove School District adaptive lessons. I hold a bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Education, giving me a strong foundation in classroom and early childhood education. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Work, where I continue to expand my knowledge of early childhood development and inclusive practice.
