About Abby Rae

I'm Abby, I'm 21 and from Arkansas, and I have a habit of letting the kids I care for choose my hair color! I'm studying Psychology, ASL, and Child Development, giving me a strong understanding of children's development, emotions, and personalities. I'm fun, understanding, and personable. I love working with kids because watching them grow into themselves is one of the best feelings! I love seeing them discover what they enjoy, regulate their emotions, and understand themselves and the world around them. I started working with children around 13 or 14, with experience in babysitting, Pre-K/daycare, special-needs VBS, and volunteering with children in Tulsa. I'm now 21, giving me about 7 years of experience! In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, hiking, watching TV, spending time with my pets, music, and thrifting. Most importantly, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I'm patient, dependable, and love helping kids learn and grow.
