About Abby

Hello !! I am currently a unit secretary at Akron Children's in the ER. I graduated from Kent in the fall with my bachelors in human development & family studies with a concentration in child & youth development but am going back this fall for cardiac sonography !! I like working with kids because of how unpredictable yet fun-loving they are. While I love all ages, I favor younger children as it is so rewarding to watch them grow & learn new things while also "learning" themselves! I'm looking for a job that is willing to work with my school schedule, if it aligns with what they need/want, as well as for a family to welcome me in warm hearted as someone to care for their child & create a relationship with him/her! I started working with kids when I was 15 ! I started with a little girl who was 6 months old & watched her until she was about 6 years old and I also babysat in my churches child care center as well as children in my neighborhood !
