About Abby

Hi, I'm Abby! I'm a Child Learning and Development student with a goal in pursuing pediatric occupational therapy. As such I'm definitely equipped with a background in medical and developmental education possible to help families truly thrive! I have always felt deeply connected to children. With over 8 years of experience caring for children of all ages--from toddlers to teenagers, including autistic children--I bring a fun and empathy-grounded approach to childcare. I have certified training in pediatric Applied Behavior Analysis. I communicate with parents through any preferred method and work with the parents in a cooperative process. I love taking kids out to further their social development, like crafts events at the library! I am happy to help with meal prep/cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I'm super excited to learn how I can bring my passion for childcare to your family!
