About Abby

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, friendly and calming. I like working with kids because they are so fun and creative, and can teach us so much as adults! I love learning about the humans they are growing into and they often surprise me with how intelligent and clever they are even at a young age. I'm looking for a job that offers some routine but also flexibility as I am a professional dancer. I'm looking for part time work either recurring for a family or more one-time gigs that I can fill my schedule with. I started working with kids when I was about 13, I would walk to a few houses in my neighborhood and babysit some younger kids. I also grew up with a brother 7 years younger than me, so I had early experience watching him as well. In my spare time, I like to dance, read, craft, spend time outside on walks and hikes, and go see Broadway shows.
