I'm Abby and I'm a junior at Western, majoring in Sport Psychology and studying to be a Physical Therapist. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have been babysitting for over 6 years. My experience with Special Needs kids is more limited due to the lack of job opportunity I've had, but listed below includes: -A summer and date nights watching a family of four kids with one (6 yo) of whom has Selective Mutism and was able to bond with him over time for him to trust & talk openly to me -Watching a family of two kids this past summer with the younger boy (7yo) being on the Autism Spectrum -Watched a 3yo boy on Autism spectrum/ADHD on a couple occasions -Older sister is a special education elementary teacher (moderate-high) and I have helped/visited a few times with her in class to bond with the kids
