Hello and Welcome!

I am a professional nanny with over 10 years experience working with families in the Boston area. I'm seeking a full time position starting summer 2026. I specialize in infancy and early childhood but have a range of experience working with children of all ages. 

My time with children is filled with language and play. We read, talk, and sing through each day. I try to go out with kids everyday, to find some sunshine and see some buddies! I am very familiar with the Boston area and I love to take advantage of all it has to offer for children and families. Our days are full of books and songs, trips to the library and park, bubbles, dancing, sing-a-longs, and play at home. When not chasing toddlers or carrying infants on my hip I love to knit and bake, play my ukulele and guitar, read and bike, and garden!

Abby has been a core member of our family for the last 4.5 years! We can’t imagine life without her! 

We are huge Abby fans!!! My kids (2yo daughter and 6mo old son) love the time they spend with Abby. She makes sure that they feel comfortable and safe, and we always know that they are having a great time. Abby gives us peace of mind knowing that our kids are in the best hands. Aside from just being a good person, Abby is also professional, caring, and deeply knowledgeable. Her experience easily speaks for itself, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abby to anyone I know for any and all childcare needs!

Abby is absolutely wonderful, and we will miss her dearly. I have two kids, 4 and 7 and they LOVE her. She is always present, incredibly playful, and caring. Abby is also relatable, she loves to tell stories, and is thoughtful and informed when responding endless questions about the nuances of life including race and gender. She is also a calm guide for parents as we troubleshoot challenges with our kids. We have numerous kids on our street between the ages of 1-10 and and they all adore her, any family would be very lucky to work with Abby. Abby is also very punctual, always arriving a few minutes early.

I do not know anyone in this world who enjoys and loves kids as much as Abby! She has cared for our children (ages 7 and 10) for over a year during the pandemic and I could not recommend her enough! She is playful, loving, creative and kind, while also being incredibly responsible, responsive and reliable. My children adore Abby, they look forward to seeing her and feel so loved and secure around her. Abby has a unique way of telling everyone around her what she likes about them, which is contagious. The children (and parents!) feel supported, accepted for exactly who they are, and encouraged to explore things around them or new ideas. She reads to them, sings to them, gets into the dirt with them and gets into really interesting and imaginative conversations and games with them. She is wonderful and I only wish we met her when our kids were even younger!

Abby is the best! She is communicative, thoughtful and genuinely loves our kiddos. We have always been impressed with her ability to navigate multiple children at once in such a seamless way. Her fun energy is an instant magnet and she is always willing to jump into a game of tag or snuggle on the couch to read stories. She goes above and beyond to make sure our kiddos are happy and safe!

Abby cared for our daughter a year starting when she was 3 months old. We had to part with Abby when we moved across the country and it was definitely the hardest part about leaving. Abby is incredible with children and infants. She fostered a love for reading and play in our daughter and encouraged her to explore her interests and develop her unique personality. Abby not only worked for us full time but did overnights with our daughter - we trusted her completely! She is an incredible person to have on your team and any child growing up under Abby's care is lucky to have so much love and joy in their lives everyday. I would be thrilled to talk to anyone considering hiring Abby - I could not recommend her more.

It was wonderful to work with Abby!  I appreciated the initiative she took to plan activities for our two year old daughter.  They went to so many parks, museums, and music classes and it was all planned by Abby.  She is very respectful of our family's needs and is easy to communicate with in person or via text/email.  She is very clean, easy to work with and ramps up quickly in new situations. Can't wait to work with Abby in the future!

Abby took care of our son from the age of 7 weeks through 18 months and became a part of the family.  She is a gem, and her approach to child care is unique, warm, and always developmentally appropriate and stimulating.  She is bright, caring, zany, and responsible.  She is patient, follows instructions, and is CPR certified (was previously an instructor!).  She treated our son as her trusty companion, and we attribute many of his successes directly to her fabulous care of him during that early period. 

Abby is an amazing nanny/babysitter. I have two high energy kids with significant food allergies and we all love her. She's super dependable and has an amazing way with kids. 

Abby is wonderful. She is incredibly dependable, loves kids, and speaks their language.  She is one of the few people that our son would go to even during his "stranger-danger" phase.  My son loves Abby and I never had a qualm about leaving him with her, even when he was itty-bitty.  Abby is an expert at taking care of babies/kids and they can tell she is happy to be with them. I highly recommend Abby!

Abby loves babies. And babies love Abby. She takes care of my nine month old daughter occasionally (and has done so since my kid was five months or so). She is kind, creative, flexible, and endlessly patient -- the best babysitter I could ask for. I've seen her interact with my friends' older children and she is totally wonderful with them as well. If I needed a full-time nanny, I'd hire her in a heartbeat.

Besides being honest, dependable, and easygoing, what sets Abby apart is her ability to communicate effectively with children.  She constantly sang, read, and talked to our son.  She entered every day and every book reading session with 100% effort and patience...which I think all parents can appreciate when you have to read Little Blue Truck for the 500th time.  Abby kept a very watchful eye, and was always honest and forthright when the inevitable and random ouchies would happen.  Due to her extensive experience with nearly all age groups, I would recommend Abby to any family looking for care.  

Abby is fantastic - she made me feel safe leaving my two year old with her all day and they had a wonderful time! My daughter is very clear if she doesn't like someone, and it was obvious she was excited to hang out with Abby the following day. She was super dependable and knowledgeable about fun things to do in the area and I would easily hire her again!
