About Abby

Hello! My name is Abby and I am currently a student at the University of Illinois studying Animal Sciences. I have an extensive background of working with kids, mainly in the pool, as I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years! I have worked as a lifeguard and a swim instructor, so I am comfortable working with kids of all ages in vulnerable situations. I would love to work with your family and support you in any way you may need! I'd describe my personality as creative, outgoing, and driven I like working with kids because they are hilarious and they remind you to slow down and be patient. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be myself. I started working with kids when I started teaching swim lessons about 5 years ago. In my spare time, I like to craft and read, as well as spend a lot of time playing with my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I am comfortable working with you and having open communication. My skills include tutoring, swim lessons, creative play.
