About Abby

Hey I'm Abby! I have 17 years of experience working with children and 5 years of experience working with individuals with special needs. I have experience caring for infants through kindergarten as a lead teacher in daycare and school settings, as well as providing respite care and working in a day program. I currently work at a transition school in DCSD with young adults with special needs, where I help students develop life skills, independent living skills, job skills, and confidence as they transition into adulthood. ( I have DCSD breaks off) I am CPR, QMAP, and CPI certified. I am comfortable working with both typical and special-needs children and adults and am experienced in providing safe, dependable, and supportive care tailored to each person's needs.
