About Abby

Hi there! My name is Abby, and I currently work as a teacher at an art afterschool program. With three years of experience caring for children from toddlers to teens, I'm devoted to fostering a creative, fun, and engaging environment for children with activities like arts and crafts, board and card games, and cooking. As a teacher, I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, and I'm also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I also have extensive experience taking children on public transit to/from schools around NYC. I always follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and preferred communication methods. Additionally, I am a certified teacher with a bachelor's degree and First Aid, EpiPen, and CPR training. I look forward to learning how I can help your family!
