About Abby

Hi there! I'm an artist, writer and musician originally from Baltimore. I spent 6 years living and working in China, and am fluent in Mandarin and Spanish. I spent 2 years in Baltimore teaching a Mandarin immersion program for preschoolers at a Montessori school, and have a passion for foreign language and encouraging young learners to expand their world view. Most recently I worked as an in-home caretaker for an elderly woman in the Florida Keys, and I love all types of work that involve caring for another person. I am a certified reiki (energy healing) practitioner and incorporate that into my work as a caretaker if the client is open to it! I am available for tutoring, child care, senior care, odd jobs and transportation, as well as house/pet sitting.
