I like caring for seniors because I tend to find a friend in the individuals I've cared for, and I love that seniors have lived a lot longer than I have and they have wisdom to share. I started out in assisted living, then I decided to become a CNA and work in a nursing home. I've also worked as a nurse's aid in an in-home healthcare setting. I prefer in-home because I feel I can focus more on one person, providing better care and developing a much closer relationship with my client. I've worked with people with dementia, physical disabilities, etc. I am patient, empathetic, and reliable.
