I have loved animals all my life, I have been around them for as long as I could remember. Dogs, cats, tortoises, bunnies, guinea pigs, the list goes on. Dogs specifically, I find myself very good with. The bigger the better, small ones I love as well. Growing up I had a beagle and golden retriever as "family" dogs. I have now had my "own" bernese mountain dog/st Bernard mix for about 2 years and I would do anything for her. I enjoy playing with pets, walks if needed, and light grooming like a bath or brushing. After going outside I find it important to check for ticks, and in-between paws to ensure no dermatitis is forming. If needed I would be willing to get your dog used to regular tooth brushing. I give love to animals as if they are each my own. Older dogs deserve the most comfort and I won't mind hanging out with them and having long chats. Barking dogs do not scare me, I try to befriend whatever animal I come into contact with.
