About Abby

Hello! My name is Abby. I'm a junior at SU, studying philosophy and history. I'm babysitting alongside another job to pay for tuition! I have been babysitting on and off for about 6 years, but have been caring for my younger siblings and cousins for much longer. I also have two years of kindergarten classroom experience as a PAL, where I learned how to teach students to read and write. I've also taken babysitting and first-aid classes. My love for kids has been clear since I was young. I am always sure to pick up and help around the house as much as possible. As the oldest of four, caring for kids comes naturally. I am proficient in American Sign Language and think it's an important tool for young kids. I am very comfortable with all sorts of pets (I have a bearded dragon!).
