Born and raised in Cedar Rapids and have lived all over. Went to UNI, then spent a few years in Des Moines before moving out to Denver, CO. After receiving my masters in social work I lived in the UK for 2 years and I'm back in Cedar Rapids while I apply for my Australian visa (sadly it takes time and money). I have a bachelor's and master's degree in social work and have worked with kids of all ages (infants to teens). I have a online board full of age appropriate activities and knowledge of childhood development. I've been a nanny in the past and can provide references if needed. I have my own transportation and open availability. I work with an overnight family as well every once in a while where I would be required to transport the child to/from school but that is on an irregular basis and know weeks in advance. Facts about me: I have an adorable 2-year-old nephew. I enjoy reading and meditation. I've been to 12 countries and counting.

My kids had tons of fun with Abby, she had activities planned and was very engaging. She was on the floor with my 18 month old for hours and worked on their speech therapy as well. She was detailed oriented and flexible with our changing schedule.
