I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. My focus is on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I have a graduate degree and one year of experience tutoring students in elementary, middle, and high school in subjects like math, English, science, study skills, and history. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen and observe initial interactions with new material and encourage open communication to understand a student's individual learning style. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples or personal interests. Regular updates help parents stay informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
