About Abbie

My name is Abbie and I have been working with children for over 10 years. I have a degree in Child and Adolescent Development, specializing in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching in early childhood classrooms for the last 8 years, as a lead teacher in toddler classrooms, 2-3-year-old classrooms, and 3-4-year-old classrooms. I have multiple years of experience potty training the students in my toddler classrooms. I am born and raised in La Jolla, CA and love to take advantage of the weather and the nature around us. I currently reside in Crown Point. When I nanny, I implement my ECE and CAD foundations into age-specific experiences that focus on the development of each child's innate skills, while focusing on Play being the core of children's desire to learn about the world around them. I am currently getting my masters degree in Speech Language and Hearing Pathology through SDSU asynchronously online and am looking for part-time nanny work.
