About Abbie

Hi! My name is Abbie, and I've always naturally fallen into caregiving roles. Growing up with two full-time working parents, I often helped take care of my younger sisters, which is where my love for babysitting and supporting others really started. This led me to take on more babysitting jobs through high school and college. I enjoyed being someone they could rely on, and that mindset has stuck with me. I've also worked in the ICU as a nursing assistant for the past four years, so caring for people is a huge part of my everyday life. That job has taught me how to stay calm, be attentive, and step in when someone needs help. I'm comfortable taking responsibility, paying attention to safety, and making sure the people I'm caring for feel supported and looked after. I'd describe myself as reliable, easygoing, and communicative. I take pride in being someone families can trust and kids feel comfortable around.
