About Abbie

Hi, my name is Abbie and I have recently moved to DC from North Dakota! I am looking for part-time work and am comfortable with kids, animals, any household needs. My career goals include finishing my Masters of Clinical Research Management as I have already obtained my Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. I have tutored students before as I excel in STEM subjects. I started working with kids when I began helping out my church in 2018. Weekly, I would lead groups of two to seven kids completing worksheets, playing games and singing songs. l am CPR/BLS certified and have also worked in mental health for nearly three years making me very aware of my surroundings/potential hazards. My most recent full time job was a mental health technician where I balanced keeping the unit clean and safe while checking on patients (up to 22) at least every 15 minutes. I would classify my work ethic as reliable, easy to communicate with, and always willing to lend a hand.
